This week in math ten we learned about negative exponents and fractional exponents.

I had a hard time remembering that negative exponents are the ONLY thing that reciprocate in the equation, not the entire question.

Every time I saw a negative fractional exponent, my initial instinct was to reciprocate the division portion of the question but I remembered that it would make the equation more difficult.
