This week in trigonometry we reviewed simple triangle rules. Each triangle has three sides, the hypotenuse the opposite and the adjacent.

In each right triangle there are 90 degree angles and sometimes a given angle which helped us indicate the third angle.

We used sine, cosine and tangent to find these angles. 

When an angle wasn’t given it was difficult to name each side, this is when we knew not to use trigonometry, but the Pythagorean theorem.
