This week in math ten we reviewed exponents.

We reviewed basic exponent laws such as the division law, the multiplication law, the exponent and negative exponent law and the power of a power law to help us in the second lesson (combining exponent laws)

A difficult question we had to practice was:

 

For this equation, I used the Power of a Power rule.

What I learnt this week is that simplifying the question makes it easier for me in the long run, then I can move onto more difficult steps.
