The first week of math was a very new learning experience. The week went by extremely quickly and the information being taught took a long time to process since there were many new things to learn.

The first important component in chapter 1 (numbers) was getting to know the definition of prime factorization.

We learned how to find GTF and LCM using this method: Either the Multiplication Tree or the Dividing method.

That helped me when we used larger numbers in square roots and more difficult equations.
