Last week I got a book to alter, came up with a theme for my altered book, got some inspiration, and started cutting out some pages. I have started coming up with ideas and looked through the criteria. I am inspired by nature and the theme of change and self growth. I am hoping to tie in nature with change using the sun set and moon cycles. For growth I am hoping to tie in plants growing. I am planning on creating pop outs, cut outs, and blackout poetry so far. I have gone through my book and cut out parts of the signatures.

For my inquiry I also started a new painting. I wanted to paint a chickadee. I got a reference photo.

I am proud of the amount of work I got done last week and wouldn’t change anything. My goal for next week is to finish taking out the pages in my book, start gluing some pages together, and maybe even start a page in my book.
