During this unit we learned a bunch of new concepts,about Arithmetic and Geometric series/ sequences. There is plenty of formulas to go along with them too. The tricky part for me was remembering what each one is used for and how to know when to use it. After practicing more and more I learned how to know when to use them and for what each of them are used for. I have written some notes below that highlights some key points to know of each type of series/ sequence and also when each formula is used. Another hard part of this unit for me was also the infinite geometric series, I learned to understand it from the metaphor of the pizza, if you cut a pizza in to quarters eat a quarter then cut a fourth of one of those pieces and eat that then from those 1/8’s your piece will eventually be super small, but you can never get a piece that will finish the pizza because your pizza is being divided up more every time.
