In my opinion the two aren’t comparable in this way due to the fact that the impact they create on society is quite different, but that is not to say one is less important than the other. If we didn’t have one of the two the world would be changed dramatically, without art becoming dull, colorless, and without science and engineers we would be primitive almost, stuck in a way of life unchanging and not advancing. Artists change the world in ways differently than scientists, writers write the news articles that are shown globally, broadcasting the things everyone needs to know. Artists change lives, from music, paintings, designers and architecture. All of these things change people’s lives daily whether they know it or not. For me art has changed me throughout my life, impacting what I wear, what music I listen to and how I present myself.
