Your scrapbook outline & pages should be handed in at the start of class. Please write the title of each page (in order) for marking. In total, there should be 6 completed pages (your cover page and 5 topic pages). Send by email or leave your paper copy/book in the hand in bin.
Movie: American Teen (day 1 of 2)
While watching the movie, please consider the following and be prepared to discuss:
- Which character(s) in the movie do you most identify with?
- How do you feel about being “that person”? Why? Outline qualities you feel you share with them and whether you consider them to be positive or negative.
- Seeing parts of “yourself” on film, would you change anything?
- How do you think this movie breaks down/reinforces typical adolescent stereotypes?
