This is my foods reflection for April. We made cinnamon buns which was the first time I’ve ever made cinnamon buns. Working with my group and doing the lab was alright, we never seemed to run into any big issues. The only thing I think we could improve on was shaping the cinnamon buns because some were tooo big and some were a little too small. I’m thinking if we presented it to someone then we wouldn’t get a perfect mark, but if the cinnamon buns was just for ourselves (which it was) then I think the size difference would have been a fun/good thing. The actual cinnamon buns tasted fairly sweet, I’m not a big fan of cinnamon buns myself but I liked these ones. I love how the dough heating up makes them bigger, I just find that really interesting.
