PHOTOGRPAHER’S BIO: My name is Aiden Han who took the photography 11 this year. Throughout this course, I have gained a lot of skills about camera and able to put myself in a challenging situation to learn how to overcome the problem. Before I learn about camera or photography, I had no idea what it was and thought it was simply taking a picture of something. As I learn more about the photography with MR.Schoenhals I started to realized that this courses is not only about pictures, but learning how to handle the cameras in a various way and apply the right skills depend on which environment you in. It really taught me how to be patient and force me to think creative for me to avoid any obstacle in front of me such as facing the rainy day, poor camera focus, confusing assignment etc.. In conclusion my photography journey has been full with valuable lesson and personal growth. Because of lot of project and assignment I have gained a great true meaning of art, technical skills that can possibly help me in later future.

i learned from this photo that it is always good to have more than 1 person when I’m taking picture in beautiful sunny weather. I like how all 3 people in the photo shows the entire body and have a confidence posture, but i feel like i could have more focus to make the picture in better quality. Even though it was little bit challenge for me to find a good spot that can affect the light to all of them, but once i found it, it came out as great result.

This is a photo of 2cars that i found really attractive and cool when i first time find it. it was actually my last project which i can take whatever things i want but it was really worth it for me. i’ve always wanted to take a picture of the fancy looking car and one of them was actually my dream car so i was really lucky to find that. Overall, i satisfied with it, but i wish there was some more car that is parked in a low, that way it would be cooler

I took this pictures of two birds in slow shutter speed, looks like they are flying. This assignment was focusing on getting the photo of moving object. It was actually my first time attempting on taking picture of moving things, i was scared about it because i felt like it would be very difficult and hard for me to get the right amount of focus. Although, i got this pictures by first try and came out with pretty good result. All of them was great and i liked it but i just wished that i was little bit more closer to the birds

This picture is probably the first one i took when i took this course. This photo is basically about making the background blur but keep the main objects close and clear. To be honest, i had nothing challenging or problem with creating this photo because all i had to do is make a focus in the centre and take a picture of it. But i just wished that i could have choose a better objects rather than simple leaves because i was in a rush and had to hand this assignment fast, but with the result, i definitely satisfied with it.

This picture is called Typology which is the collection of collection, getting the multiple of pictures that is similar each other. When i received this assignment, the whole thing was challenging and confusing for me because I’ve never done this kind of project before and had no idea what can i take a picture of. After lot of consideration i decide it to take every drinks in vending machine located of riverside. First i didn’t really thought about it, but it actually came out pretty decent. All the drinks looks like they are so organized and colourful. But again it would’ve been better if i had a better quality.

This was a light painting project, probably the hardest one I’ve ever tried in this class. It wasn’t only taking pictures of the light, but adjust every single angle and draw the things I want by myself with my cell phone flash. I guess every step for this photo was extra challenging for me compare to other one because I made a lot of mistake when try to make the perfect shape in a dark room, I couldn’t see anything and fail a lot of time. After lots of attempts I was able to create a shape that looks like a stickman even though I didn’t like it that much I still think it was the best one that I made. Next time, I wanna be more professional on this assignment because it seems like it requires much more effort and skills to come out with the best result that will satisfy you

This is called avatar project and basically it is about turning yourself into blue creature. Taking picture of myself was really easy and had nothing problem but the stressful part began with editing myself. we had to use an app called photoshop to turn ourselves into an avatar. Because in my life, I’ve never heard of that app before and even if I see all the tutorial and guide line it was still hard for me to follow the steps because there was so many tool and button. When I first time saw this assignment, I never thought I could do it like everybody else because I suck at computer and editing online, but somehow I could finish it and make it at least looks like creature although it wasn’t perfect. The one thing I wished is that maybe I could have ask some more question to my teacher and try not to make it so awkward

This is one of my favorite photo that I took for my studio portraits, for this assignment I wasn’t allow to use a natural light and the light has to be inside. I was little bit worry about it because I thought that it would be very difficult for me to find a light inside, but I was able to find a really good spot and able to take a pictures that is getting the light from above, I ask one of my classmates to be my model, and the result came out pretty good. The photo wasn’t blurry at all and I think it showed the side of this face really well with all the emotions and depressed expression in it which gives a professional vibe, I was satisfied with all of them but one thing I wish I could have improve was that he wear some uniform or try different pose to make it extra interesting for the audience
