This week on math we learned about x- and y- intercepts and domain and range.
An x-intercept is the point in a relation or function where a line passes over the 0 coordinate of the x plane, likewise a y-intercept is the same for the y plane. Not all relations cross over the intercept like a perfectly straight line travelling either vertically or horizontally indefinitely. Meanwhile a line that is a parabola or a circle will cross the intercept multiple times.
Domain is how far along the x plane a relation’s line reaches and range is how far along the y. For example a line that has 2 filled in dots with the coordinates (7, -3) and (2, 8) respectively has a domain of
