Math Blog Week 12

This week on math we learned about linear graphing and relationships between two quantities.

A relation in math is represented by the algebraic values x and y, x being the horizontal position and y being the vertical one, relations are expressed in many ways, an equation could be expressed as y=2x+3, a table lists the values in order and follows the equation when determining values. A graph is commonly used to map points on a table, the ordered pair is the representation of coordinates on a graph, if the x value equals 4 and the y value equals -5 then the ordered pair will be (4, -5).
