Math Blog Week 9

This week for math we learned about factoring polynomials.

In the equation 3x^2+6x both 3x^2 and 6x are divisible by 3x which is the greatest variable that will divide from both, this is the greatest common factor, when we factor the equation we get the new equation: 3x(x+2). We do the same for the equation 8x^3-4x^2+12x, since the highest factor that can divide from all of them is 4x we end up with the factored equation: 4x(2x^2-x+3).
