About Me
A Quote (or Two)
“A reader lives a thousand lives before he dies, the man who never reads lives only one,” George R R Martin
I chose this quote because I live to read. Reading is more than just skimming a book. Reading allows your brain to get caught up in a different world or someone else’s life. A reader lives a thousand lives because he or she has seen the world from different people’s perspectives. He or she lives the lives of anyone, from aliens to superheros to an ape trapped in a cage. He or she lives lives in fictional worlds that make ordinary life seem dull in comparison. A man who never reads lives only one life; one life in reality. Which seems more appealing to you?
“Tu me pose une question!” -M. Francescini
This is another quote I wanted to add because of the fact that this teacher had a great impact on my life. M. Francescini was my teacher in the sixth and seventh grade. For those of you who don’t speak French, it means, “You are asking me a question!”. He said this when someone would be answering his question and their voice would go high at the end. This is something that everyone knew of, along with the “Pistolet au pied” (shooting yourself in the foot). This quote is just a funny thing that I thought would be a good idea to add onto this page.
A water skiing squirrel, because why not?
