Week 1 – Pre Calculus 11

In the first week, I learned about the topic called “Arithmetic Sequence”. Arithmetic Sequence usually has a pattern shown in every terms. They have the thing called “Common dDifference” between two orders which makes sense Arithmetic Sequence follows the rule of math pattern. To find the term of an Arithmetic Sequence, we should follow these steps.

1. Identify the first term of the sequence. Not every sequence begins with the numbers 0 or 1.
2. Define your common difference as d. Find the common difference for the sequence as before.
3. Use the explicit formula.
4. Fill in your information to solve the problem.

Few examples of Arithmetic Sequence is ‘Increasing Sequence’ and ‘Decreasing Sequence’. Increasing Sequence is like 1,2,3,4,… and Decreasing Sequence is 3,2,1,0,-1,-2,…. There are tons of Arithmetic Sequence but if you know the first term and common difference, you will define the accurate pattern pointing out to every terms.
