Synthesis Essay Correction
Some mistakes I made on this essay include; commas, grammar, and some mistakes with quotes. One big one however, is not using “big , swords”. Also I didn’t really use transition words at all. Next time I hope to apply all of these correctly and properly.
Some things I did well was; making a good thesis, supporting my reasoning and using quotes that are relevant. Overall I think I did the best I can do on this essay, next time I hope to continue the things I did well.
“The Watch” Elie Wiesel
I woke up with an empty stomach and a loss of hope; however, I was thankful to live another day. My bunk mates were as dreary and depressed as I was. As I got up, I can spot many corpses of men lying everywhere, some bodies were rotting. The stench was out of this world in this bunker. Walking down these crowded bunkers along side other men is something I’ve gotten use to as I’ve been here for a long time. Sliding up against their bony, cold, and pail bodies makes me sick. Many men are crying, sobbing, screaming, and grumbling because of their current situations. You can also hear the children and women doing the same. My body is like a rusty car that is barely functional. Everything hurts from my joints, to my head, and to my insides.

3 Reasons why Boo Radley is a Ninja
To one, Boo Radley might not be much in the book, but a ghost or a nobody; however, to me he is a ninja! Boo has shown many characteristics of what a ninja is. He has shown the stealth, the kick-butt fighting skills and his awareness of his surroundings in the shadows that a ninja also possesses.

- Boo’s stealth
Do you know how many people has actually seen Boo? No? Well that’s cause of his expertise in stealth. Only a handful of folks in Macomb has seen him. There were also many instances where the characters Scout or Jem could have seen him, but they didn’t. His stealth is displayed in many instances. One being when Miss Maudie’s house was burning down and Jem and Scout were cold sitting on the curb. As they were being distracted by the fire and getting drowsy from tiredness, guess who snuck up behind them and put a blanket around them? Exactly, it was Boo. Both Jem and Scout had the opportunity but they didn’t take it.
- Boo can fight
This part is evident only near the end of the book, but it still shows what this man is capable of fighting. Nevertheless, Boo can certainly kick-butt as showed when the kids (Jem and Scout) got jumped by Bob Ewell. Boo was able to save Jem and Scout from the intoxicated Bob Ewell. He did end up prevailing at the end with Bob’s dead corpse lying lifeless on the floor. Bob didn’t even see it coming. No-one did. Who would have thought that Boo could do such a thing?
- Boo Lurks the Shadows
Ever wonder how Boo is so familiar with Jem and Scout without ever interacting with them ever? No he is not a professional stalker. That’s because he is very aware of his surroundings by lurking the shadows which is a ninja thing . One reason why is because he has a perfect view of the street. He was aware of the various events that happened through the years. For example when Atticus shot and killed the dog Tim Johnson. Boo which hasn’t been exposed to light in a awhile makes sense that he was able to fight Bob off Scout and Jem in the pitch dark.
The Cat & Fiddle Sports Bar & Restaurant: The Restaurant That You Won’t Want To Leave
When eating at the Cat & Fiddle Sports Bar & Restaurant one might forget that they are even at a restaurant. One might fall in love with this place because it feels like home as you grub down at some of the most classic foods. From the bar area for enjoying a drink with your friends to the reserved area for parties and/ or get togethers. And with the cozy, soft and comfortable chairs and U-shaped couches you will definitely miss the atmosphere when you leave. Being a sports bar means that you can do all of this while watching some of your favourite nail-biting sports. You can also expect seeing the many sports memorabilia around the restaurants that you might marvel at such as signed hockey player jerseys or some nifty posters. From burgers ($12) to pizza ($15) this place has a stacked roster ready for anyone. Their amazing famous chicken wings ($0.30 each) are the reason that people come back; they are made fresh everyday by the chefs but made to order to order. They are seasoned with whatever the costumer such as honey garlic to buffalo. You might bite into that sweet and savoury crunchy chicken wing you almost forget that you are eating and you are getting a bit too comfortable. It tastes as good as taking a bite from heaven. You can smell the kitchen from where you sit: the tangy honey garlic sauce or the deep-fried goodness of the fries. With prices that you would only dream of! You can expect great service from the waitresses that are lovely and get the job done. The chefs are the most compassionate group of people that I have ever met. Maybe because one of them is my father who loves his job. You can see the smile on every employee’s face as they work and you can even see smiles on the customers as they enjoy their favourite foods. As well as the sound of discussions thought the restaurant so it does not sound awkward as you eat. Its no wonder people have a hard time leaving, (besides the drinking). People have a hard time leaving because; of the massive food selection with affordable prices, the cozy/ comfortable atmosphere and the great customer service from the all the staff!
