How might your digital footprint affect your future opportunities?

     If Employers or universities see something negative in something for example like your social media it may lower your chances of getting hired or getting into a school. If they find something positive it may increase your chances of getting hired or being accepted into a school.

Describe at least three strategies that you can use to keep your
digital footprint appropriate and safe.

     When using social media or posting things online be careful what you post and make sure that it is appropriate. Do not post hateful or insensitive things on the internet. If you have already posted offensive things online delete them if you can. It is also a good idea to delete old social media accounts and accounts similar to it.  

Information I would pass on to other students.

Nearly anything you post online can be traced back to you and employers and schools will look at your digital footprint . Whenever you post something, keep in mind that a future employer or school could see what you posted.
